Following the announcement, Asian Community Concern seeks to provide community programmes and outreach solutions for individuals in need, while helping in the development of Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) communities in and around Ealing borough, London.

Asian Community Concern is an organisation committed to building strong communities through its outreach services and initiatives. Its community engagement projects, for instance, provide opportunities for individuals of different backgrounds to help each other and foster cultural and societal bonds.

Asian Community Concern believes community engagement is an essential component of neighbourhood revitalization. One such engagement that fosters this ethos is its food and supply distribution to BAME communities and families in need affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The group’s women’s outreach projects are designed to assist and support BAME women through engagement activities. The organisation facilitates year-round workshops and activities that help low-income and educationally disadvantaged women learn new skills, access vocational and training opportunities, and become empowered.

In addition, Asian Community Concern provides women with mental health support and counselling and offers professional help to women suffering from domestic violence or abuse. The group assists with issues that arise from such violence, including homelessness, and supports asylum seekers.

It also uses its outreach service to inform young mothers of their rights, benefit entitlements and housing support. And for additional assistance, the group offers women referrals to other specialist services that provide support.

Asian Community Concern’s recent announcement underlines the organisation’s devotion to building strong communities and providing support for BAME community members in need throughout Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing and Hounslow Mind.

A spokesperson for the organisation said: “We earth this mission in the context of needs, people’s relationships and urbanisation. We place the context at the grassroots level because we aim to promote the necessary support, ground action and type of change that will benefit the grassroots both educationally and economically.”
