Their new combined treatment services come in the wake of their transition to waterless nail treatments, manicures and pedicures. Penelope and the Beauty Bar adopted a waterless approach after several studies have found that water can have detrimental effects on one’s nails and shorten the lifespan of polish. In order to further promote the long-lasting health of the nail and nail bed, the spa has also added paraffin dips to their manicures and pedicures.
Visitors have the option to choose classic manicures and pedicures or treatments using Dazzle Dry products. The Penelope and the Beauty Bar’s skilled massage therapists also work alongside nail technicians to give guests the option to add-on a 15, 25 or 35-minute hand and/or foot massage.
Beyond these nail treatments, Penelope and the Beauty Bar believes that their new walk-in booking system is making it easier for Seattle women to enjoy a spontaneous full self-care spa day. Their on-staff expert estheticians can develop a customized facial and body treatment package for their guests on the day that will address their main skincare concerns, whether it is congested skin, aging skin, dull skin, or perhaps all three.
